The Dream

Hi , so I’m sure everyone has a dream, some people want to have things , a better house, a better car, maybe a better life style than the one they currently have. I think ambition, wanting to better yourself is a good thing , its good to have a motivation , a purpose if you like , for me the finer things are nice I wouldn’t say no ! but for me my dream is to produce beautiful art, by really pushing myself no matter how busy or how recently poorly I have felt, I have been very run down and the dreaded flu managed to get a grip of me, its definitely not like a bad cold or cough and I know some people would say you should get the flu jab, this is a bit controversial because to me there are so many different strain’s I’d probably still get the damn thing!

Anyway, I came across a Mel Robbins post about dreams and it really did reignite with me what she was saying, “it’s not the end result, it’s the journey” the path on the way to your dreams that really matters, for me learning from some of the best teachers out there as well as practicing every day, finding things out for myself every day, not just about art techniques but also about computers, social media, business , tax, copyright and a whole lot more has been and still is such a fulfilling journey it’s far from easy but so rewarding, when you create something that means so much to somebody that they are moved to tears of joy, well it is so worth all the many hours you put into making that art as perfect as you can possibly do.

I am really lucky though because my art journey has also lead me to a animal charity that I’m really passionate about and I will be working with Saving Strays Animal Rescue. I will be donating a lovely piece of art that will go for sale at one of their venues and I have offered to do a commission on their auction pages, details will be coming in a few days, this is a fantastic opportunity to support a wonderful charity that does amazing work.

I really do hope whatever your dream is, you are enjoying your journey and your path isn’t too difficult.
